A lidded caddy....a tea caddy or an object to contain something or nothing.
Thrown and trimmed from an iron rich clay blend with an impressed texture using a seed pod. Dipped in a bisque slip and glazed with a semi matte ash glaze. The ash glaze is over an iron oxide wash on the lid which darkens the surface.
Approx 11.5cm tall
Gas/wood fired to around 1300°C in a reduction atmosphere.
