A lidded caddy....a tea caddy or an object to contain something or nothing.
Thrown from an iron rich clay blend with timmed and cut foot ring. With brushed, unglazed white bisque slipped exterior. The inside has a glassy green mixed wood ash glaze. The lid has a stamped detail.
Approximately 16cm tall
This Caddy has been with me for a few years but has never found a home. I really like it as a piece but happy to move it on at a much reduced sale price.
Gas/wood fired to approximately 1300°C in a reduction atmosphere.
