Pedastal Bowl

Thrown and constructed from a very high iron clay which includes local raw clay additions. The whole bowl and pedastal are covered in a matte dry brushed bisque slip. Part of the bowl has an area of melted hardwood ash which has created a satisfy surface contrast.

Approximately 25.5cm diameter at the rim by 17cm tall.

Gas and wood fired to around 1300°C in a reduction atmosphere.
